Kiloview RE-3 is a professional rack-mounted encoding card built for the RU01/RU03 chassis, supporting HDMI, 3G-SDI and USB inputs. It delivers up to 4Kp30 or 1080p60 in H.264/H.265 encoding, with flexible dual-channel operation and layout options including PIP and PBP.
With full support for NDI HX3/HX2, SRT, RTMP, RTSP, HLS, WHIP, and other IP protocols, RE-3 enables high-efficiency streaming and reliable transmission across demanding production environments.
Powered by H.265 (HEVC), the RE-3 delivers visually lossless compression with up to 50% bandwidth savings compared to H.264, ideal for efficient, high-quality video transmission.
The RE-3 features 4K HDMI, 3G-SDI, and USB video inputs . You can encode any single input or both HDMI and SDI simultaneously with Picture-in-Picture (PIP) and Picture-by-Picture (PBP) modes.
The RE-3 supports comprehensive IP streaming protocols including NDI HX2/HX3, SRT, RTMP/RTMPS, HLS, TS over UDP, RTP, RTSP and WHIP. It can stream to up to four platforms simultaneously with optimized stability.
Advanced PTZ management supporting USB serial (RS-232/485/422) and IP-based protocols, delivering precise control over 4K camera movements. Designed to enhance complex UHD live productions and remote directing workflows.
The RE-3 can processes up to 4 channels of embedded audio from SDI, HDMI, and USB sources, with additional support for external audio via a 3.5mm line-in. This multi-channel capability makes it ideal for complex production environments that require precise audio encoding and mixing.
